Negative Declaration

Rensselaer County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Modification to the an Existing Mined Land Reclamation Permit for Troy Sand and Gravel will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the addition of 2.8 acres to an existing 14 acre life of mine. The project is located on Phillips Road in the Town of East Greenbush, New York.

The action involves the addition of 2.1 acres to an existing 18 acre life of mine, for a new mining area of 20.1 acres. The project is located on Ryan-Gross Road in the Town of Pittstown, New York.

Rensselaer County - The Town of North Greenbush, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Tech Valley Plaza will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the site plan approval for a certain 193,068 square foot shopping center. The project is located at the southeast corner of Route 4 and Route 43 in the Town of North Greenbush, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Albany County - The Town of New Scotland Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Kensington Woods. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on December 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of New Scotland Town Hall, 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY 12159. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until January 12, 2009. The action involves a proposed residential cluster development by Garrison Projects, LLC, consisting of 169 units with related roadway and utility infrastructure on 184 acres. The proposed project provides for 82.7 acres of open space. The project is located at 106 Hilton Road in the Town of New Scotland, New York.
