Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a 38-lot residential subdivision, associated roads and infrastructure on a 25.98 acre parcel of land located between Lisha Kill Road and Lori Drive in the Town of Niskayuna. The proposed work will involve the placement of fill into 0.22 acres of federal jurisdictional wetlands. To mitigate for wetland impacts, the applicant proposes to create approximately 0.05 acres of wetland out of uplands on the project site and enhance approximately 0.23 acres of existing field wetlands. A deed restrictive covenant will be placed on approximately 0.94 acres, to include the remaining undisturbed wetlands and some of the upland buffer areas, to preserve these areas in an undisturbed natural condition in perpetuity.
