Negative Declaration
Madison County - The Village of Earlville, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Earlville Water System Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of 3.68 miles of old cast iron water main with new ductile iron water main. The original water mains were constructed in 1929 and have reached the end of their service life. The project also involves replacing the water storage tank, which was built in 1958 with a new water storage tank at the existing tank site. Improvements to the Water Treatment Facility, such as installing new ventilation equipment and chemical containment, are also included in the proposed project, as well as installation of an emergency generator for the Village well site. The project is located on various streets throughout the Village of Earlville, New York.
