Project Description: The action involves a three lot subdivision of 213 ± acres involving wetlands and construction of two single family dwellings. Each of the new dwellings will be served by an individual shallow absorption trench on-site wastewater treatment system and well water supply. Access to Lots 2 and 3 will be provided by a shared driveway access from the Strackville Road to avoid development on steep slopes. No wetlands will be filled or impacted by the project as proposed. A building site on Lot 1 was approved by a previous Agency permit.

Project Description: The construction of a 20' by 50' gravel parking area and signage to provide public parking access to the Saranac River, a designated Recreational River. This "High Falls Development Public Access Area" will accommodate 4 to 5 vehicles and is designed in accordance with FERC Licensing agreements.


Negative Declaration

Clinton County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adcock Mine Expansion by New England Waste Services of New York (NEWSNY) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposal by the applicant, NEWSNY, for a 21.5 acre expansion of an existing 25.5 acre sand pit for a 47 acre Total Life of Mine Area on a 368.4 acre parcel of land owned and/or controlled by the applicant. The reclamation objective is for soil stabilization and the establishment of grass cover. The project is located on Mason Street in Schuyler Falls, New York.

Washington County - The Salem Central School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Capital Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a Capital Improvements Project to be completed in three (3) phases proposed as follows:

Phase 1 to include a roof replacement for the Bus garage, 2,500 square foot Athletic Storage Building, interior renovations and revised internal campus circulation.

Phase 2 to include a new bus loop, interior renovations, new running track and baseball fields.

Phase 3 to include a new 12,000 square foot Auditorium and Lobby, new 8,000 square foot Music room, other interior renovations.

The project is located at 41 East Broadway Street in Salem, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Saratoga County - The City of Saratoga Springs Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Beaver Pond Village Subdivision. The action involves the proposal for subdivision approval of a residential development on 149.23 acres. The proposed action calls for a 91 lot subdivision, with 90 lots to be residentially developed and one lot to remain undeveloped. The total site consists of two parcels of undeveloped land totaling 208.92 acres.. The project is located at 98 Geyser Road in the City of Saratoga Springs, New York.
