The project will involve three crossings of existing tributary by piping approximately 290 linear feet of the tributary which impacts approximately 0.3 acres of Federal wetlands. The project sponsor will be required to conduct a mitigation project which will create 0.63 acres of wetland habitat within the project site. Project Description:

The applicant proposes to replace the NYS Route 415 bridge over Wolf Run (DEC Water Index No. PA-3-58-8; Class C) and a corrugated steel culvert located approximately 50 feet north of the bridge. The project site is located on NYS Route 415, approximately one mile north of the intersection with Clawson Drive. As proposed, the existing 44-foot single span bridge will be replaced with a new 43-foot single span bridge in the same location. In addition, approximately 130 linear feet of stream bed regrading is proposed next to the new bridge, and approximately 950 linear feet of the stream banks will be stabilized. The proposed stream bank stabilization measures include placement of approximately 280 linear feet of heavy stone rip-rap, planting of native willows, and additional landscaping measures. In addition, underground natural gas and telecommunications utilities will be relocated within approximately 10 feet of their existing locations to accomodate the new bridge.
