The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Madison County - The Village of Canastota, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Canastota Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Rehabilitation and Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Abatement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the improvements to the Village's combined sewer system and WPCP to abate CSO's and rehabilitate the wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure. The improvements include: replacement of the North Main Street Pump Station and grit/screening facilities; construction of a new 500,000 gallon wet weather storage tank; rehabilitate the WPCP; abandon the existing pumping facilities and conversion to a storage facility for the Village's recreation department; and restoration of the impacted baseball fields and parking facilities. The project is located at 715 North Main Street and Joe Stagnit Lane in the Village of Canastota, New York.

Onondaga County - The Cicero Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hamlet of Brewerton Strategic Revitalization Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Strategic Revitalization Plan for the Hamlet of Brewerton. The project is located in the Hamlet of Brewerton in the northern portion of the Town of Cicero, New York.
