Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Elma Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed revisions to the Town of Elma Zoning Code and Zoning Map will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the revision of the commercial land use regulations of the Zoning Code to accommodate three separate commercial zoning districts and create the Elma Center Overlay in order to promote the establishment of an Elma Town Center along Bowen Road. The Town's Zoning Map is being updated to show the locations and boundaries of the new commercial districts and zoning overlay. The project is located in the Town of Elma, Erie County, New York.

Erie County - The Springville-Griffith Institute Central School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Springville-Griffith Institute Central School District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves acquisition of land for the development of a new bus garage and athletic practice/play fields and various renovations and upgrades at District facilities. Approximately 11.3 acres of land adjacent to the existing Elementary and Middle Schools will be purchased for the construction of an approximately 15,300 square foot bus garage with bus and car parking areas, fueling operations, storm water detention, and athletic practice/play fields. Proposed replacement, repair, renovation and upgrade items at the Springville High School, Middle School, Elementary School, and Colden Elementary School include lavatory renovations, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting, and safety upgrades (i.e., smoke detection, sprinklers, fire alarms, emergency power and lighting, and eyewash stations), vinyl asbestos floor replacement, underground storage tank removal, handicapped accessibility upgrades, and demolition of temporary classrooms. The project is located in Erie County at the following locations:
