Positive Declaration

Ontario County - The Canandaigua City Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Canandaigua Lakefront Redevelopment Planned Unit Development may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the redevelopment of 33.5 acres near the northern shore of Canandaigua Lake, abutting the NYS 5/US 20 highway. This mixed-use project includes 334 dwelling units and 87,400 square feet of new commercial space in addition to the existing 100,000 square foot retail plaza. The project is located at 24-158 Lakeshore Drive and 30 Eastern Boulevard (NYS Rte 5 & 20), City of Canandaigua, NY 14424.
