ENB - Region 8 Notices 10/01/2008

Negative Declaration

Wayne County - The Town of Arcadia, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Arcadia Water District No. 11 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the extension of public water service to Arcadia Water District No. 11. The project will serve a total of 150 equivalent dwelling units. Approximately 37,450 linear feet of watermain will be installed. In addition to the watermain, the project includes a pump station, hydrants, valves, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, and surface restoration. Residents in this area are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project includes portions of Marbletown Road, Miller Road, Ridley Road, Hartnagle Road, Sutton Road, Brumm Road and Bluecut Road in the Town of Arcadia, New York.
