Ulster County - The Town Board of the Town of Hurley, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2008 Amending the Zoning Law of the Town of Hurley will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a draft local law that would enact a series of amendments to various provisions of the Town of Hurley Zoning Local Law, ultimately to achieve clarity and efficiency in administration. The changes are being made in accordance with the recommendations and goals set forth in the Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Hurley. The amendments will allow bed and breakfast inns and boardinghouses subject to a special use permit approval. Review and approval procedures for small scale home occupations will be simplified. The bulk regulations will include "green space" requirements for lots. Additional definitions are proposed. Numerous technical amendments will address vague language, inconsistencies and conflicts within the Code. The project is located throughout the Town of Hurley, New York.

Westchester County - The Yorktown Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the Proposed Local Law to amend Section 300-21 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amendment of the proposed Local Law Section 300-21 adding office and data centers to the list of uses within the M-2 Zoning District. The project is located town wide in the Town of Yorktown, New York.
