The applicant seeks a permit to rehabilitate and maintain the existing marina: to include replacing the bulkhead, walkways, finger slips & jet ski lift; repair of the bluestone parking area; construction of rack storage on the existing parking area and dredging. The dredging entails the marina and the access to the existing federal channel. Dredging is proposed to a depth of 6' below mean low water (87,056 square feet within the marina and 44,597 square feet to access the federal channel). The project is located at Windswept Marina, 215 Atlantic Avenue, East Moriches on Moriches Bay/West Cove/Tuthills Cove (Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County).
