New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) Region 5 Reports of Administration Use of Motor Vehicles and Aircraft in the Forest Preserve

In compliance with NYS DEC Commissioner Policy 17, the activity logs documenting the administrative use of motor vehicles and aircraft within the Forest Preserve in NYS DEC Region 5 for the second quarter of 2008 are available for review by contacting Thomas D. Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Essex County - The Adirondack Park Agency (APA), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Map Amendment 2007-08 (Town of Ticonderoga). The action involves the Town of Ticonderoga request for an amendment to the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map pursuant to Section 805 (2)(c)(1) of the Adirondack Park Agency Act. The proposed amendment would reclassify approximately 168 acres of land located west of NYS Route 9N and south of Race Track Road from its present classification of Moderate Intensity Use to Hamlet. The project is located in the Town of Ticonderoga, New York.

Warren County - The Adirondack Park Agency (APA), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Map Amendment 2007-07 (Town of Hague). The action involves the Town of Hague request for an amendment to the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map. The proposed amendment would reclassify approximately 58 acres of land located along Decker Hill Road from its present classification of Rural Use to Low Intensity Use. The project is located in the Town of Hague, New York.
