Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Lancaster, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Re-zone and Retail Development at NEC Transit Road and William Street will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the re-zoning of approximately 15 acres from CMS-Commercial Motor Service to GB-General Business, and re-zoning of approximately 21 acres from R1-Residential District 1 to GB-General Business for the pupose of constructing a retail development of up to 300,000 square feet. The project is located at the northeast corner of Transit Road and William Street in the Town of Lancaster, New York.
