Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The City of Rochester Director of Zoning, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) Substation 137 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new electric substation (Substation 137) on portions of the properties, approximately one acre, to replace RG&E's BeeBee Station directly adjacent to the subject site. The project includes building and equipment demolition and filling of lands. The project is located at 100 Falls Street and 100 Platt Street in the City of Rochester, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft SEIS and Public Hearing

Monroe County - The Town of Brighton Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Park Place / St. John's Community. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on August 13, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Brighton Town Hall, 2300 Elmwood Avenue, Town of Brighton, NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until September 9, 2008. The action involves an application to amend the December 15, 2004 incentive zoning resolution for a property. The amended resolution proposes the construction of 102 senior living residential units with incidental facility management and residential community spaces as well as a 6,000 + square feet area for retail/commercial uses on 17.5 + acres of land at the same location. The amended resolution also includes an enhanced trail system with a connection through Town lands and enhanced connectivity to adjacent lands. The Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement is available for review on the Town of Brighton website: http://www.townofbrighton.org/. The project is located south of Elmwood Avenue and west of South Clinton Avenue in the Town of Brighton, New York.
