Project Description:

The applicant proposes to replace and rebuild approximately 315 linear feet of existing boardwalk, expand a deck by about 80 square feet, replace deteriorated handrails and viewing blind walls, construct a new viewing platform (up to 12 ft x 14 ft) on piles and control Phragmites in selected areas through the use of Rodeo herbicide and black plastic (three discrete areas plus scattered individual plants or small clumps of plants - about one acre total). These activities are proposed to be located in or within 100 feet of BU-15, a class I wetland.

The applicant proposes to enlarge an existing pond by about 5,875 square feet within the regulated 100 foot wide adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland BW-7 for recreation and wetland enhancement.
