Location: 2000 feet easterly of the Washington and Warren County Line on the southerly side of New York State Route 149, in the Town of Fort Ann, Washington County.

Project Description: The project is the construction of two 11,000 square foot structures, 32 feet in height, to be used for the storage of boats and other related equipment on a 5.9 ± acre parcel of property in the Town of Fort Ann, Washington County. The site is located 2,000 feet easterly of the Washington and Warren County Line on the southerly side of New York State Route 149. The site will operate year around during daylight hours, but most of the activity will be in the late fall and spring time of each year. No lights, signage or structures are proposed.


Negative Declaration

Clinton County - The Town of Plattsburgh, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Champion Park Pump Station will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a wastewater pump station and 9,000 ± linear feet of sewer force main to replace the existing Champlain Park Waste Water Treatment Facility. The project is located on Cumber Head Road in the Town of Plattsburgh, New York.

Essex County - The Town of Willsboro Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Special Use Permit - Stonebrook Properties Continuing Care Community will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the repairs and alterations to a former school building, change of use for the property and construction of 57 assisted living units in phase one of the project. Phase two of the project involves the construction of 40 multiple family units. The project is located on Gilliland Lane in the Town of Willsboro, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft SEIS and Public Hearing

Essex County - The Adirondack Park Agency (APA), as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Map Amendment 2007-08 (Town of Ticonderoga). A public hearing on the Draft SEIS will be held on August 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ticonderoga Town Supervisor's Office, 132 Montcalm Street, Ticonderoga, New York. Public comments on the Draft SEIS will be accepted until August 16, 2008. The action involves the request by the Town of Ticonderoga for an amendment to the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map pursuant to Section 805 (2)(c)(1) of the Adirondack Park Agency Act. The proposed amendment would reclassify approximately 168 acres of land located west of NYS Route 9N and south of Race Track Road from its present classification of Moderate Intensity Use to Hamlet. The project is located in the Town of Ticonderoga, New York.

A public hearing on the Draft SEIS will be held on July 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hague Community Center, 9793 Graphite Mountain Road, Hague, NY 12836. Public comments on the Draft SEIS will be accepted until August 16, 2008. The action involves the request by the Town of Hague for an amendment to the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map pursuant to Section 805 (2)(c)(1) of the Adirondack Park Agency Act. The proposed amendment would reclassify approximately 74 acres of land located along Decker Hill Road from its present classification of Rural Use to Low Intensity Use. The project is located in the Town of Hague, New York.
