Shandaken Tunnel Outlet SPDES Permit General Meeting - August 26, 2008
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) hereby gives notice that a meeting will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday August 26, 2008, at the NYC DEP office located at 71 Smith Avenue in Kingston, NY.
The meeting is being held in accordance with State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Discharge Permit No. NY 026-8151, for the Shandaken Tunnel Outlet. NYC DEP will discuss the progress of several projects in the Catskill watershed region. Public input is welcome.
The meeting is open to the public.

Negative Declaration
Westchester County - The County of Westchester, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ossining Wastewater Treatment Plant Performance Maintenance III will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of an approximately 2,275 square foot building addition to replace an existing smaller sludge loading building at an existing county owned wastewater treatment plant for the purpose of improving odor control during the sludge loading process. The project will include a new truck loading bay within the new sludge loading building. Associated work includes expansion of the existing driveway, repaving, curbing, a new parking area for 12 vehicles, roof replacement, new stormwater basin and internal modifications to improve odor control. The project is located on Westerly Road in the Village of Ossining, New York.
