Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NY 110 Drainage and Roadway Improvements, Prime Avenue to Young's Hill Road will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of a large culvert under Creek Road, maintenance and repair of existing culverts and streambed (silt removal and re-grading), replace/repair of tide gates, removal of creek constriction caused by the partially collapsed culvert at Hill Place and construction of a filtration basin on the vacant town property between Creek Road and Mill Dam Road. Various elements of the Highway Improvements will include the construction of two roundabouts at Creek Road and Grist Mill Lane with a continuous two-way left turn lane from Prime Ave to Hill Place, the repair and resurfacing of pavement, installation of new pavement markings, new signing, repair/replacement of deteriorated curb and sidewalk and enhancing pedestrian movement by improving striping, channelization and pedestrian crosswalks where feasible. The project is located on NY Route 110 from Prime Avenue to Young's Hill Road in the Town of Huntington, New York

Positive Declaration

Nassau County - The Village of Great Neck Estates, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Application of Herbert Weichman as contract vendee of 127 Cuttermill Road, Great Neck Estates may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the variances to permit the premises located at 127 Cuttermill Road, Great Neck Estates to be used as a professional office with 48 off-street parking spaces where the Village Zoning Code requires a minimum of 112 off-street parking spaces. The project is located at 127 Cuttermill Road in the Village of Great Neck Estates, New York.

Suffolk County - The Village of Islandia, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Islandia Village Center Main Street Planned Development District may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a mixed use planned development district consisting of one eight story residential building with 150 condominium units, one three story hotel with 100 rooms, one seven story hotel with 175 rooms, two one story restaurant buildings and a combined retail and office use building. The project is located on the southwest corner of Veterans Memorial Highway (NYS Route 454) and Long Island Motor Parkway (CR 67) in the Village of Islandia, New York.
