Shandaken Tunnel Outlet SPDES Permit General Meeting - August 26, 2008
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) hereby gives notice that a meeting will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday August 26, 2008, at the NYC DEP office located at 71 Smith Avenue in Kingston, NY.
The meeting is being held in accordance with State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Discharge Permit No. NY 026-8151, for the Shandaken Tunnel Outlet. NYC DEP will discuss the progress of several projects in the Catskill watershed region. Public input is welcome.
The meeting is open to the public.

Notice of Intent to Prepare a SEIS and Public Scoping
Dutchess County - The Town of East Fishkill Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Montage at East Fishkill may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on July 15, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the East Fishkill Town Hall, 330 Route 376, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. The draft scope is available for public inspection at the Town Planning Offices. The action involves the proposal to develop a 385.5 acre parcel as 135 single family homes on approximately 341.5 acres. The project is located along the south side of NYS Route 52 and opposite the intersection of NYS Route 216 in the Town of East Fishkill, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing
Putnam County - The Town of Southeast Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Stateline Retail Center. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on July 14, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at the Southeast Town Office, 1360 Route 22, Brewster, NY 10509. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until ten (10) days following the close of the public hearing. The action involves the construction of approximately 184,800 square feet of retail use, 14,800 square feet of office use, and 11,000 square feet of community space and 915 parking spaces on an approximately 44.7 acre site. Access would be from three driveways off NYS Route 6, one of which would be signalized. Water for the site would be supplied from groundwater wells with an approximate daily usage of 4,900 gallons per day and sewage would be treated in an onsite septic system. A series of stormwater basins would be used as the primary method of managing post development stormwater runoff. The project is located on NYS Route 6 between Old Nichols Road and Dingle Ridge Road in the Town of Southeast, NY 10509.
