Negative Declaration

Nassau County - The Region 1, Nassau County State University Construction Fund (SUCF), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed SUCF Project 31215, new Academic Building will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new academic building, 131,000 square feet, which will contain classrooms, office and computer labs. The project is located on the campus of the State University of New York College at Old Westbury, 223 Store Hill Road in Old Westbury, New York.

Suffolk County - The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation (NYS ORPHP), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brentwood Athletic Complex will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of improvements in two phases to the existing active outdoor recreational facilities at the 52 acre Brentwood State Park. The project includes: grading, utilities, approximately 575 parking spaces, buildings for park services, 17 soccer fields, 4 baseball fields, lighting, service road, pedestrian paths, perimeter fencing, site furniture, playgrounds, and informational kiosks. The project is located in the Brentwood State Park at Crooked Hill Road and Community College Road in Brentwood, New York.
