Project Description: The Department of Environmental Conservation is reviewing a TRP application to allow Hudson Valley Triathalon Club to host four separate day use events at Kenneth Wilson Campground. The activity will not impact the public's ability to access and utilize the Lake or other facilities, and would be authorized only while the facilities are open to the public. The permit will be in addition to users also obtaining a Day Use permit to enter the facilities for the authorized activities.
Comments will be accepted until June 4th, 2008.

Putnam County - The Town of Carmel Town Board, as lead agency, as determined that the Carmel Sanitary Sewer District #1, Extension #3 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a system of gravity sewers, pump stations and force mains to carry sanitary sewage flow along Route 6. The sewage will originate from approximately 500' north of Baldwin Place Road and discharge into the existing sanitary sewer located in Croton Falls Road, whereupon, the sewage will be carried to New York City's wastewater treatment facility located on Croton Falls Road. The project is located on Route 6, between Baldwin Place Road and Croton Falls Road in the hamlet of Mahopac, New York.

Rockland County - The Village of Upper Nyack Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Upper Nyack will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The proposed amendments establish formal procedures and regulations for special permits for principal uses, including, but not limited to, Places of Assembly and accessory uses. The proposed amendments also update and streamline the permitting and approval processes in front of Village boards in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. In addition, several definitions are added to the zoning ordinance to better define certain uses, structures and other terms referred to within the Zoning Ordinance. The project is located in the Village of Upper Nyack, New York.
