Negative Declaration

Orleans County - The Town of Ridgeway, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Ridgeway Water District No. 10 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves proposed improvements to include the installation of 20,800 linear feet of 8" watermain. The project will serve a total of 35 residential properties in the Town of Ridgeway. Activities include the installation of watermain, fire hydrants, valves, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, and surface restoration. Residents in these areas are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located along portions of Portage Road, Beals Road, and Culvert Road in the Town of Ridgeway, New York.
