Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Penfield Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Irondequoit Harbor Management Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Towns of Irondequoit, Penfield and Webster proposal to adopt the Irondequoit Bay Harbor Management Law for the purpose of establishing uniform regulations to deal with water surface uses by the three towns with borders that extend into the Bay. The proposed law will address water surface uses and their ancillary uses, docking, boat storage and moorings and enforcement, violations and penalties. The project is located in the Towns of Irondequoit, Penfield and Webster, New York.

Schuyler County - Schuyler County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sale of the Rural-Urban Center amd former Office for the Aging (OFA) Facilities will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the sale of two county-owned excess properties: the Rural-Urban Center at 208 Broadway and the former Office for the Aging at 336 West Main Street, both within the Village of Montour Falls. Office and community space available in both structures has been replaced by the new Human Services Complex located at 323 Owego Street, also within the Village of Montour Falls. The County wishes to dispose of the property to encourage redevelopment of the facilities. The project is located on two sites in the Village on Montour Falls, New York, the Rural-Urban Center is at 208 Broadway and the OFA is at 336 West Main Street.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Monroe County - The City of Rochester Director of Zoning, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Redevelopment of Riverpark Commons. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on May 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, City Hall Room 302-A, 30 Church Street. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on June 6, 2008. Copies of the DEIS are available for review at the following locations:

The action involves the redevelopment of Riverpark Commons including the relocation of several households, demolition of the four low-rise structures, subsurface remediation, construction of approximately 100 units of rental housing units including 20 units for low-income households, and related parking and site improvements The project is located at 185-405 Mount Hope Avenue in the City of Rochester, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Livingston County - The Town of Geneseo Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Gateway Town Centre. Copies of the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) are available for review at the Town of Geneseo Town Clerk's Office, 4630 Millenium Drive, Geneseo, New York, the Wadsworth Public Library, 24 Center Street, Geneseo, New York, and at the Village of Geneseo Offices, at 119 Main Street, Geneseo, New York. The action involves the construction of an approximately 137,933 ± square foot Lowe's Home Improvement Center with a 31,179 ± square foot garden center and a 114,820 ± square foot retail pharmacy on approximately 24 acres of land. In addition, appropriate landscaping and other site work will be undertaken, including arrangements for parking, installation of appropriate drainage facilities and other features typical for this kind of project. The project is located on the northeast corner of U.S. Route 20A and Volunteer Road in the Town of Geneseo, New York.
