Greene County - The Town of Hunter, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Schoharie Creek Management Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a comprehensive Stream Management Plan for the Schoharie Creek by the Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District (GCSWCD) in partnership with the New York City Department of Environment Protection (NYC DEP). The GCSWCD, as well as the Towns of Hunter, Jewett, Lexington, and Prattsville and the Villages of Hunter and Tannersville are seeking to adopt the Stream Management Plan as a working guidance document. A copy of the plan can be viewed at the http://www.gcswcd.com/stream/schoharie-eastkill/. The project is located along the entire length of the Schoharie Creek corridor in New York.
