Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

New York County (Manhattan) - The New York City City Planning Commission, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Hospital for Special Surgery Expansion. The Draft EIS can be viewed at: http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcp/html/env_review/hfss.shtml. The action involves the proposal by the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) of a major renovation and expansion for the modernization of its existing facility. The project is located between East 70th Street, East 72nd Street, York Avenue and the Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Drive in Community Board 8 of Manhattan, New York.
