Negative Declaration

Clinton County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Conners Sand Pit, Conners Sand Pit, LLC, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a 9.9 acre expansion of an existing 10 acre sand pit for a 19.9 acre Total Life of Mine Area on an 87.4 acre parcel of land owned by Robert W. Conners. The reclamation objective is for soil stabilization and the establishment of grass cover. The project is located 1800 feet east of Mason Street, 1.7 miles south of its intersection with NY Rte. 22B in Morrisonville, New York. The existing haul road will continue to be used.

Washington County - The Village Board, Village of Hudson Falls, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No. 3 of 2008 - Amendment to Chapter 215 of the Zoning Code will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves amending Zoning Law to include add Section 215-12A "conversion prohibited." The project is located in the Village of Hudson Falls, New York.
