Negative Declaration

Rensselaer County - The City of Troy Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hotel/Conference Center and Parking Structure will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves SEQRA review regarding Site Plan Approval/Zoning Variance applications for a Proposed Hotel/Conference Center and a Parking Structure, including demolition of buildings for parking and staging areas. The project is located at 515 River Street; proposed parking structure at 456-478 River St., building demolition and proposed parking/staging areas at 433 River St. (annex), 575 River St., and 579 River St, Troy, NY.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft Supplemental Generic EIS and Public Hearing

Greene County - The Greene County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement (SGEIS) on the I-87, Exit 21B multi-use destination retail park. A public hearing on the Draft SGEIS will be held on April 29, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Coxsackie-Athens Middle School Cafeteria, 24 Sunset Boulevard, Coxsackie, NY. Written comments on the Draft SGEIS will be accepted until May 9, 2008. The action involves addressing project scale and alternatives, infrastructure, wetlands/habitat, community services, secondary growth, visual impacts and economics/employment for a multi-use destination retail park on approximately 330 acres. The Draft SGEIS is available on the web at www.greeneida.com. The project is located between I-87 and CSX rail tracks in the vicinity of Exit 21B in the Town of New Baltimore, NY.
