The applicant is proposing to erect a wooden fence approximately 6 feet in length and 3 feet high along the northern portion of his property, in the right of way, along the property line of Messina. The fence will include the placement of two 4" by 4" pressure treated posts placed approximately 24" into the ground and set with concrete. Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct and operate an active landfill gas extraction network to be installed within the existing landfill footprint to produce electricity. The existing landfill gas network will be expanded with the installation of ten new vertical wells tying into a new lateral and manifold system. Recovered landifll gas will be transferred to a power island. The power island is a 150' square fenced lot and consists of a gas conditioning skid, engine-generator, transformer and distribution poles and wires to convey electricity between the power island and the NYSEG utility line. At the projected rate of LFG recovery, the landifll has the ability to generate approximately 1,000 kw of electricity using reciprocating engine-generator technology.
