Project Description:
The Department has completed its review of an application and made a determination to issue a State Pollutant Discharge Elinimation System (SPDES) permit to the Town of Livingston to discharge up to 400 gallons per day of wash water, through a oil/water separator to Mudd Creek. The treated wash water will be from a new highway garage floor drain, located on Cold Springs Road in the Town of Livingston, Columbia County. A Draft permit has been prepared is available for review. SPDES # NY- 0268844

Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:
The applicant proposes to redevelop an existing Industrial Park known as Travco Industrial Park located on Schoharie Turnpike in the Town of Athens, Greene County. The redevelopment includes demolition of an existing building, rehabilitation of an existing building and construction of a new maintenance building with an associated rail spur, structures to handle materials, and on-site wastewater disposal. The redevelopment includes impacts to less than 1/10 acre of state regulated wetlands. The impacted wetlands and associated wetland buffers are associated with man-made ditches and previously disturbed surfaces currently in industrial use.
