Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Brighton Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Richs Dugway Pipe Bridge Stabilization will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the stabilization of approximately 360 feet of existing sanitary sewer pipe bridge located primarily on the Monroe County property south of 335 Richs Dugway Road in eastern Brighton. The project will include encasing the existing above ground pipe and support structure with fill, after extending an existing 36" x 60" drainage pipe beneath the pipe bridge to accommodate the fill and removing 25 trees from the fill area. The project is located on Rich's Dugway Road, south of 335 Richs Dugway, Town of Brighton, New York.

Positive Declaration and Scoping

Monroe County - The Director of Zoning, City of Rochester, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Citygate may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. An invitation only scoping session will be held on April 23, 2008 at 1:30 at the City Council Chambers of City Hall. The action involves a proposal to rezone 63 + acres in the City of Rochester and the Town of Brighton for a mixed use development, including demolishing several historic buildings, constructing housing and office/commercial space, and enhancing the recreational opportunities along the Erie Canal. The project is located at the south east corner of East Henrietta Road and Westfall Road extending to the Erie Canal in the City of Rochester and the Town of Brighton, NewYork.
