Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Suffolk County - The Riverhead Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Site Plan of The Shops at Riverhead. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on May 1, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverhead Town Hall, Meeting Room, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until May 12, 2008. The action involves the applicant's proposal to construct a retail facility consisting of 12 buildings having an aggregate footprint of 480,990 square feet and 499,609 square feet of gross floor area on 41.55 acres of land. The parcel is zoned Destination Retail Center (DRC). The project is located on the north side of Old Country Road (CR 58), approximately 1,200 feet east of Kroemer Avenue in the Riverhead Hamlet and Township, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Suffolk County - The Town Board of the Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Acceptance/Notice of Completion of Final Generic EIS for the adoption of a Wireless Master Plan as an addendum to the Town's Comprehensive Plan and adoption of a local law that implements new zoning regulations for Wireless Communication Facilities. Copies of the FEIS can be obtained from the contact person listed below or are available on the Town's wesite at: http://www.town.southampton.ny.us. The action involves a proposed plan and amended legislation to be prepared for the purpose of creating a framework of procedures, policies, standards, and regulations for guiding the application process, siting, construction, monitoring, and installation of all wireless communications facilities. The project is located town wide in the Town of Southampton, New York.
