Project Description: The project is briefly described as a reconfiguration of three lots in previously approved four-lot subdivision (Agency Permit 86-277) and the construction of a 39.7 foot high, 5 bedroom single-family dwelling with detached accessory garage and boathouse on one of the lots. The single-family dwelling will be located 101.6 feet from the mean high water mark of Tupper Lake and will be served by an on-site wastewater treatment system and well.
Negative Declaration
Jefferson County - The Town of Hounsfield, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Hounsfield Water District No. 3 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of approximately 14,000 lineal feet of 8 inch diameter ductile iron water mains, 16,800 lineal feet of 10 inch diameter ductile iron water mains, 18,500 lineal feet of 3/4' diameter copper water service laterals, 7,200 lineal feet of 2 inch diameter copper water pipe and fittings, pump station, gate valves, valve boxes, curb stop assemblies, corporation stop assemblies, water meters and meter setting pit and fire hydrant assemblies to provide the Town of Hounsfield Water District No. 3 with a potable water supply. The project is located along NYS Route 3, County Routes 75 and 175, Ridge Road and Chestnut Ridge Road within the Town of Hounsfield, New York.
