Project Description:

The applicant proposes to rebuild Circuit 708 35 kv transmission line. The current line which will be removed, runs through NYS DEC Wetlands V-9, V-14 & C-33. Portions of the replacment line will be located in and adjacent to same NYS DEC Wetlands. The replacement line will be installed along Route 38, Route 370 and Old State Road in the Town of Victory in Cayuga County.

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a 5,400 foot long, 30 foot wide paved road to parallel the existing Warners Towpath, 30 feet to the north of it. A turnaround will be constructed at the terminus of the proposed roadway. The purpose of the road: The New York State Thruway Authority Canal Corporation is converting the existing Warners Towpath Road into a pedestrian and bicycle trail. This road is currently being used by the landowners to access their land-locked properties located north of the towpath. Therefore, this new road will allow them access to their properties. Location: The new road will begin at the Hamlet of Warners along Newport Road, then parallel Warners Towpath, and ends in the Hamlet of Memphis at Bennett Corners Road; Camillus (T), Onondaga County.

No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
