Chemung County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Drilling Permit Application for Fortuna Energy Inc. Proposed Victor 1 Natural Gas Well Located within Chemung County Agricultural District 3 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the drilling of a Natural Gas Well. Drilling operations will be conducted in accordance with the drilling permit issued and rules and regulations of the Department. The total area proposed to be disturbed during the initial construction phase for the well site and access road is 203,000 square feet or approximately 4.7 acres. After the well has been drilled, it will be put into production or plugged and abandoned. The well pad and access road areas for a producing well will be reduced to 40,500 square feet or approximately 0.9 acres and the remaining disturbed areas reclaimed. If the well is plugged and abandoned, the site will be reclaimed. The project is located approximately 300 feet west of Mallory Hill Road and 3,800 feet east of Bannister Road in the Town of Veteran, New York in the Chemung County Agricultural District 3.

Monroe County - The Town of Brighton Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Elmwood Avenue Relief Sewer Phase II will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the financing of, easement acquisition for, and replacement of approximately 2,100 linear feet of 24 inch sanitary sewer with new 30 inch piping, to improve sewer system capacity. The project is located from 3333 to 3635 Elmwood Avenue in the Town of Brighton, New York.
