Negative Declaration

Onondaga County - The Joint Schools Construction Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Central Tech Vocational Center and Greystone Building - design, equipping, addition to and reconstruction will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the design, equipping, addition to and reconstruction of the Central Tech Vocational Center and Greystone Building to create a new vocational educational facility for the Syracuse City School District through the Joint Schools Constructions Board of the City of Syracuse. The project is located at 701 South Warren Street, Syracuse, New York.

Onondaga County - The Liverpool Central Schoool District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Capital Improvements at Liverpool Elementary School ("LE"), Liverpool Middle School ("LMS"), Educational Communications Center ("ECC"), Liverpool High School ("LHS") and Wetzel Road Elementary ("WRE") will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the renovations to existing buildings and a new addition at LE for music and art; existing building renovation and a new addition at LMS for music, a library and gymnasium; existing building renovations at the ECC; a building addition to connect LE and LMS which will provide a new main entrance to the facilities, a new auditorium and music rooms, shared library space and mechanical systems. There will also be site work at LE and LMS to include existing pavement replacement and drainage improvements, circulation and entrance improvements, field improvements, parking for approximately 175 cars, safer access to NYS Route 370 and landscaping. In addition, there will be existing building renovations at WRE and LHS, and existing LHS stadium renovations, to include track, turf field and bleacher repairs, support services, drainage improvements, landscaping and new parking for approximately 75 cars. Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Tompkins County - The Town of Ithaca Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Holochuck Homes Subdivision may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on March 18, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Ithaca Town Hall, 215 North Tioga Street, Ithaca, NY 14850. The action involves the Holochuck Homes Subdivision, totaling approximately 111 acres, Low Density Residential, Medium Density Residential, and Conservation Zones. The proposal involves the construction of 106 ± town home type units in a clustered development with two entrances proposed from Trumansburg Road. The development would be concentrated on the west side of the property closest to Trumansburg Road, zoned Low and Medium Density Residential, with approximately 75 acres of the eastern portion of the property, mainly zoned Conservation, to remain undeveloped. This undeveloped portion of the property is proposed to be conveyed to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation. The project is located on NYS Route 96 (Trumansburg Road) in the Town of Ithaca, New York, between Trumansburg Road (NYS Route 96) and Taughannock Boulevard (NYS Route 89). Development will be situated behind the Paleontological Research Institution, the Finger Lakes School of Massage building, the Lakeside Nursing Home, and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
