Public Meeting Notice
Shandaken Tunnel Outlet SPDES Permit General Meeting - February 27, 2008
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) hereby gives notice that a meeting will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday February 27, 2008, at the DEP office located at 71 Smith Avenue in Kingston, New York.
The meeting is being held in accordance with State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Discharge Permit No. NY-026-8151, for the Shandaken Tunnel Outlet. NYC DEP will discuss the progress of several projects in the Catskill watershed region. Public input is welcome.
The meeting is open to the public.

Putnam County - The Hudson River Valley Greenway Communities Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed "Putnam County Pathways" Implementation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of "Putnam County Pathways" and full participation in the Greenway Compact Program as provided for in the Hudson River Valley Greenway Act of 1991 (Section 44-0119, Environmental Conservation Law). The project is located throughout Putnam County, New York.

Westchester County - The Village of Scarsdale Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wetlands Permit - construction of addition will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of an addition to an existing house on a wetlands controlled property located adjacent to the Bronx River Parkway, a Westchester County CEA and also listed on the National Historic Register. The project is located at 177 Fox Meadow Road, Scarsdale, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping
Orange County - The Crawford Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wolf Rock Multiple Dwelling (Townhouse) Development may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on February 13, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Crawford Town Hall, 121 Route 302, Pine Bush, New York. The action involves the proposed development of 154 multiple dwelling units and associated infrastructure on a 63 acre site. The project is located on the west side of NYS Route 302 and south of Edmunds Lane in the Hamlet of Pine Bush, Town of Crawford, New York.

Westchester County - The White Plains Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Orchard Street Subdivision II may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on February 19, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Common Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 255 Main Street, White Plains, NY 10601. The action involves the subdivision of two lots on a steep sloped, environmentally sensitive site, to permit the construction of three single family houses, a new road approximately 400 feet in length, and the associated storm water management improvements. The project is located at 299 Orchard Street in the northern section of White Plains, New York, on the west side of Orchard Street between Cummings Avenue the Old Road to Kenisco. The site is accessed from Orchard Street and two unimproved street rights-of-way, Bernard Place and Chadwick Road.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Dutchess County - The Town of Fishkill Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Magnolia Townhouses. The action involves a 70 Unit Multi-Family Residential Development, including 14 Unit Affordable "Workforce" Housing units, on a 14.76 acre parcel. The project is located on the east side of NYS Route 9D at Blossom Court in the Town of Fishkill, New York.

Sullivan County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Kelly Bridge Road Subdivision. The action involves the construction of a residential subdivision adjacent to Swan Lake known as the Kelly Bridge Road Subdivision. It also involves the subdivision of a 114 ± acre parcel into 21 lots. One lot in the subdivision would be designated as a common use lot for lake access by the subdivision residents and their guests. The subdivision would be served by individual wells and septic systems. A second subdivision, previously known as the Lake Marie Road subdivision, is no longer proposed and the application before the Department for that project has been withdrawn. The project is located on the northwest side of Kelly Bridge Road approximately 1,000 feet north of Kelly Bridge in the Town of Liberty, New York.
