Public Meeting Notice
Shandaken Tunnel Outlet SPDES Permit General Meeting - February 27, 2008
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) hereby gives notice that a meeting will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday February 27, 2008, at the DEP office located at 71 Smith Avenue in Kingston, New York.
The meeting is being held in accordance with State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Discharge Permit No. NY-026-8151, for the Shandaken Tunnel Outlet. NYC DEP will discuss the progress of several projects in the Catskill watershed region. Public input is welcome.
The meeting is open to the public.

Delaware County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Clear-cuts on Delaware WMA #90, Stands D-4,G-1, K-2, M-2, M-3 and S-6 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Bearspring Wildlife Management Area which has very little successional wildlife habitat. In order to increase the diversity of habitats on this area, seven clear-cuts ranging in size from 5 acres to 35 acres and totaling 136 acres will be created. The project is located five miles southeast of the Village of Walton, in the Towns of Walton and Colchester, New York.

Rensselaer County - The City of Renssealer Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Orciuoli Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the site plan approval for construction of a one story, 1,600 square foot eating/drinking establishment, paved parking spaces, storm drain infrastructure, landscaping, and a re-subdivision to combine two parcels adjacent to a Historic Residential zoning district. The project is located at 37 Aiken Avenue and 150 Columbia Street in the City of Rensselaer, New York.
