Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Penfield Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brucato Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the application for Preliminary and Final Subdivision and Site Plan approval and EPOD permit to allow for the subdivision of property into 5 lots, 1 to contain the existing residence, 1 to be conveyed to an adjacent property, and 3 lots for the development of one single family residence on each lot, on 15.25 ± acres to be known as Brucato Subdivision. The project is located at 3550 Atlantic Avenue in the Town of Penfield, New York.

Monroe County - The Penfield Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Smith Creek Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the application for Preliminary and Final Subdivision and Site Plan approval and EPOD permits to allow for the construction of a single family residential home on 4.62 ± acres subdivided from 5.08 ± acres to be known as Smith Creek Subdivision. The project is located at 1671 Creek Street in the Town of Penfield, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Monroe County - The City of Rochester Director of Zoning, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Implementation of the Durand Beach Master Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on February 5, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kusak Lodge in Camp Eastman located at 1558 Lakeshore Boulevard. The action involves the establishment of a permanent bathing beach, construction of a beach house, installation of water quality treatments for the Camp Eastman tributary and the Sherry Swamp tributary. Also included in the project are parking improvements, shoulder and lighting improvements to Lakeshore Boulevard, landscape plantings, beach access ramps and stairs, a car top boat launch, diversion of the Sherry Swamp outfall and installation of Smart Sponge filters for treatment of low flows in Sherry Swamp and the Camp Eastman tributaries. The project is located at the Durand Eastman Park.
