Project Title: Verizon Wireless, Schroon Falls Site
Location: US Route 9 and NYS Route 73, Town of Schroon, New York.

Project Description: The project is the construction of a new 84 foot tall telecommunications tower with a 12 panel antenna array (i.e., four 8 foot panels on each of three sides of the array) with a 10 foot high lightening rod attached to the top of the tower, located on a 100 foot x 100 foot leased parcel. The overall height of the proposed tower with the 10 foot lightening rod will be 94 feet. The applicant also proposes a 12 inch x 30 feet, 10 foot high equipment building on a concrete pad at the base of the tower, an ice bridge to protect the cables connecting the tower to the equipment building and a chain link fence around the compound. Access to the tower location will be over a proposed 750 foot gravel road. The new road will have a 12 foot wide gravel driving surface, stone and filter fabric lined ditches with check dams installed every 4 feet of elevation change. Utilities will be installed underground within the proposed road alignment.
Negative Declaration
Saratoga County - The City of Saratoga Springs Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Saratoga Eagle Sales and Service Beverage Distribution Center Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a 125,000 ± square foot beverage distribution center and office facility within the WJ Grande Industrial Park. Also included in the construction are 137 new parking spaces and associated access road to the facility. The project is located at 45 Duplainville Road, Saratoga Springs, New York.
