Mining operations include onsite crushing, screening, and washing, with blasting an average of 2 times per month, with an average of 100,000 tons of material to be removed annually. The proposal includes a 20 acre reduction of a 55.3 acre life of mine (to a 35 acre life of mine) to exclude a wetland area. The site is part of a 155 acre parcel of land owned by the applicant. The mine will be reclaimed to a 19 acre pond, with 11 acres of grassland, and a 5 acre concrete batch plant facility. The project is located at State Route 30 @ Catherine Street in Wells, New York.
