Project Title: Verizon Wireless, Warrensburg South

Location: County Route 60, Towns of Warrensburg and Lake George.

Project Description: The project is the construction of a new 89 foot tall telecommunications tower with a 12 panel antenna array (i.e., four 8 foot panels on each of three sides of the array) centered at 85 feet on the tower and a 10 foot high lightening rod attached to the top of the tower, all located on a 2,500 square foot leased parcel. The overall height of the proposed tower with the 10 foot lightening rod will be 99 feet. The applicant also proposes a 12 foot x 30 foot x 10 foot equipment building on a concrete pad at the base of the tower, an ice bridge to protect the cables connecting the tower to the equipment building and a chain link fence around the entire compound. Access to the tower location will be over an existing paved driveway for the first 350 ± feet and a new 2,300 ± foot long access road. The new road will have a 12 foot wide gravel driving surface and 4 foot wide rip-rapped ditches. Utilities will be installed underground.


Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The City of Saratoga Springs Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Batchheller Mansion special use permit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the issuance of a special use permit for public gatherings in association with a neighborhood bed and breakfast in a UR-3 district. The project is located at 20 Circular Street in the City of Saratoga Springs, New York.
