Negative Declaration

Ontario County - The Town of Geneva Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No. 3 of the Year 2007 - Amending the Code of the Town of Geneva to Adopt a New Chapter 163 "Wind Energy Facilities Law" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of regulations to provide for the construction and operation of Wind Energy Facilities, subject to reasonable conditions that will protect the public health, safety and welfare. The project is located in the Town of Geneva, New York.

Orleans County - The Town of Gaines, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Gaines Water District No. 8 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the extension of a public water district. Approximately 10,670 linear feet of 8-inch watermain will be installed. In addition to the watermain, the project includes hydrants, valves, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, and surface restoration. Residents in these areas are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located along portions of Zig Zag Road, Densmore Road and West Transit Church Road in the Town of Gaines, New York.

Wayne County - The Town of Palmyra, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Palmyra Johnson-Floodman Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the extension of public water service to Palmyra Johnson-Floodman Water District. A total of 29,800 linear feet of 8" watermain will be installed. The project will serve 49 equivalent dwelling units (defined as an occupied unit with anticipated water use equivalent to that of a single family home). Activities include the installation of watermain, fire hydrants, valves, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, and surface restoration. Residents in this area are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located along portions of South Creek Road, Floodman Road, Parker Road, Johnson Road and South Townline Road in the Town of Palmyra, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Monroe County - The Town of Brighton Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Faith Village may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on December 19, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Brighton Town Hall, 2300 Elmwood Avenue, Brighton, NY 14618. The action involves an application for Incentive Zoning of a ± 70 acre site.

The master plan for the project includes development in separate phases and includes the following:

1. 60,287 square foot multipurpose building with a maintenance building and associated parking and infrastructure;
2. 80 unit senior living facility;
3. 3,500 seat sanctuary and parking;
4. Kindergarten - 12 grade school with bus loop and parking;
5. Construction of a youth and family life center; and
6. Construction of a 400 seat detached chapel and a single family parsonage.

The project is located south of Westfall Road and west of Winton Road South in the Town of Brighton, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Ontario County - The Town Board of the Town of Victor, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Bluestone Creek Planned Development District rezoning. The action involves the rezoning of approximately 74.6 acres of land between Wangum and Old Dutch Roads and along the Auburn Trail from a Light Industrial (LI) zone to a proposed Planned Development District. This rezoning would permit a proposed mixed use project of 120 apartments in 6 buildings, 90 lots of patio homes and a 30,000 square foot professional building. The project is located on County Route 42 in the Town of Victor, New York.
