Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Poughkeepsie Planning Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Vassar College Baldwin House Parking Lot Renovation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a new and reconfigured parking lot, walkways and drainage in 1.55 ± acre site near the Baldwin House. The project is located at 124 Raymond Avenue, Pughkeepsie, New York.

Rockland County - The New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed development on the Helen Hayes Campus will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of the land parcel located on the southwest portion of Helen Hayes campus. This development will include a 45,553 square foot, 65 bed assisted living unit, and a 26,401 square foot, transitional living residence. Eight staff housing buildings are proposed to include a total of 19 units. The units are 2000 ± square feet and will be single story. The project is located on the Southwest Campus, Route 9W, Haverstraw, New York.

Ulster County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Demoltion of Coykendall Lodge will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the domolition of the Coykendall Lodge, which is a 100 + year old, three story, wood frame building with a stone foundation at Alder Lake in the Catskill forest preserve. It has deteriorated to the point of being unsafe and beyond repair, therefore, it will be demolished. The stone foundation will be stabilized, the cellar hole will be filled and interpretive signage will be installed. The footprint of the building and the surrounding area will be accessible to the public for passive recreation. The project is located in the Town of Hardenburgh, New York.

Westchester County - The County of Westchester, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Disposition of County-owned Land to Peekskill Motor Inn will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the disposition of surplus County-owned property. The property is 0.4 acres and will be sold to the adjoining Peekskill Motor Inn. The project is located at Route 9 and Main Street in the City of Peekskill, New York.

Amended Negative Declaration

Westchester County - The Westchester County Board of Legislators, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bronx River Parkway Reservation Repaving Program - Cemetery Road to Lafayette Avenue Bridge will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rehabilitation of approximately 1.3 miles of the parkway drive from Cemetery/Old Tarrytown Roads in the Town of Greenburg north to the Lafayette Avenue Bridge in North Castle by dividing the parkway's northbound and southbound travel lanes. Two-design approaches will be used, a landscaped infiltration swale median and a rustic heavy-post block-out corrugated beam median barrier. Three parkway bridges will be widen to accomodate the proposed parkway median treatments, guardrails will be modified, roadway marking and drainage will be enhanced, paved shoulders created, roadway lighting restructured and concrete mountable curbing added. The project is located at the Bronx River Parkway Reservation in the Town of Greenburgh, City of White Plains, Town of North Castle and Town of Mount Pleasant, New York.
