NYC Department of Sanitation (Southwest Brooklyn Marine Transfer Station) submitted an application to construct and operate a converted marine transfer station in the Bensonhurst Section of Brooklyn, on a lot it owns bounded by 25th Avenue to the north, Bay 41st Street to the south, and Gravesend Bay to the west.

A legislative hearing will be held to hear and receive unsworn statements of the public on January 15, 2008 at 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Written comments may also be submitted to the ALJ and must be postmarked no later than January 15, 2008. An issues conference will be conducted on January 23, 2008 and continue on January 24, 2008, as necessary. All petitions requesting party status must be received no later than 3:00pm on January 14, 2008.
