Project Description: The Department of Environmental Conservation is reviewing a TRP application to allow the 2008 Americade event using portions of the Lake George Battlefield Park and the Lake George Beach Intensive Use Areas facilities on the following dates; May 27, June 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th, and 13th, 2008. This permit would authorize the annual activity, now in it's 26th year. Comments will be accepted until November 14, 2007.

Negative Declaration

Washington County - The Town of Kingsbury, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Multi-Modal Transfer Terminal will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a multi-modal transfer terminal. Rail sidings will be installed to move products out via adjacent Canadian Pacific rail line. Primarily products to be shipped out will be construction aggregates, with possibility of other bulk products, such as wood and agricultural commodities. Tanks to be installed near rail lines to bring liquid asphalt and calcium chloride in for use in local construction and road maintenance projects. The project is located at 2375 State Route 149 in the Town of Kingsbury, New York.
