Negative Declaration

Greene County - The Town Board of the Town of Athens, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of the Town of Athens Updated Comprehensive Plan (Town and Village of Athens Comprehensive Plan) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of the Town of Athens Updated Comprehensive Plan (called Town and Village of Athen Comprehensive Plan) in accordance with Section 272-a of the Town Law. The Plan includes statements of goals and objectives for the orderly growth of the Town. Included in the Plan are demographic statistics, past and present land uses, public opinion surveys and recommendations for the Town to use and /or adopt in order to reach the aforementioned goals and objectives. The project is located in the entire town of the Town of Athens, New York.

Positive Declaration

Montgomery County - The Town of Florida Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hero / Beech-Nut Facility may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction and operation of a baby food manufacturing facility, together with office facilities, truck loading/unloading facilities, and truck trailer/car parking areas. The proposed structure will be approximately 650,000 square feet, and the total acreage involved is approximately 141.66 acres. The project is located within Lot 4 of the Florida Business Park located in the Town of Florida, New York, north of NYS Route 5S about one and one-half miles west of its intersection with NYS Route 30.
