Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Town of Newburgh Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Newburgh Consolidated Water District Proposed Conveyances of Surplus Real Property: 617 NYS Route 32, Wallkill (Town of Newburgh), New York will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the declaration as surplus and proposed conveyance of real property of the Town of Newburgh Consolidated Water District not required for district purposes. Separate portions of the property are the subjects of the following two proposed conveyances: the grant of a conservation easement over a 6.78 acre portion of said property to the County of Orange in consideration of a grant payment; and the proposed sale in fee of a separate 1.65 acre portion of the property, which includes a house, driveway and related structures, subject to a restriction confining future use of the property to a single family residence and accessory uses. The project is located 617 Route 32, Wallkill (Town of Newburgh), New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Dutchess County - The City of Beacon City Council, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption of City Comprehensive Plan. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on November 14, 2007 and November 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial Building, Main Street, Beacon, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until ten calendar days after the close of the public hearings or 30 calendar days from the filing of this notice and the DGEIS, whichever is later. The DGEIS is posted on the City of Beacon website. The action involves the adoption of a new City Comprehensive Plan. The project is located city-wide in the City of Beacon, New York.
