Negative Declaration

Putnam County - The Putnam Valley Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Change and Single Family Dwelling for Brady will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a single-family residence on approximately 1.03 ± acres of land located on Peekskill Hollow Road in the CN Zoning District. Single-family residences are prohibited in the CN Zoning District; therefore, the applicant has petitioned the Town Board to rezone the parcel from CN to R-3. The subject site is completely surrounded by the R-3 Zoning District and the site is not conducive to commercial development. The project is located on Peekskill Hollow Road in the Town of Putnam Valley, New York.

Ulster County - The Town of Denning Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of the Town of Denning Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of the Town of Denning Comprehensive Plan, dated October 2, 2007. The project is located town-wide in the Town of Denning, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Orange County - The Town of Goshen Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Goshen Comprehensive Plan modifications and Introductory Local Laws # 2 and 3 regarding Zoning Law Text and Map Changes may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on October 22, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Goshen Town Hall, 41 Webster Avenue, Goshen, NY 10924. Scoping and comment periods will remain open beyond the date of the Town Board's next meeting on October 22, 2007. The action involves the Town Board of the Town of Goshen process of reviewing its Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Regulations and has drafted preliminary changes to the zoning regulations, text and map. A scoping of the impacts preliminary to preparation of a GEIS is underway and public comment is sought in this regard. The project is located town-wide in the Town of Goshen, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Orange County - The Town of Hamptonburgh Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Four Seasons at Hamptonburgh. Copies of the FEIS are available from the contact person listed below. The action involves the construction of 293 units of active adult, age restricted residential housing. The project would include approximately 222 single family homes and 71 townhomes, with associated recreational amenities and other facilities, including a wastewater treatment facility. The project is located on Route 416 and Eager Road in the Town of Hamptonburgh, New York.

Ulster County - The Town Board of the Town of Gardiner, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Ohioville Acres Planned Development District. The action involves a conservation subdivision of 135 residential lots on 264.7 acres, including one neighborhood commercial retail/office lot and 171.6 acres of open space. The Project will include 40% of the residential lots as a combination of inclusionary housing (income qualified) and workforce housing. The project is located on the former Strongman Gravel Mine, at the northeast corner of the Town of Gardiner near the borders of the Towns of New Paltz, Plattekill and Lloyd, New York.
