Positive Declaration and Public Scoping
Livingston County - The Town of Geneseo Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Gateway Town Centre may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted by the contact person until October 31, 2007. A public scoping session will be held by the Lead Agency and the Town Board of the Town of Geneseo at a date, time, and place to be determined. Notice of that public hearing will be provided in accordance with all applicable requirements. The action involves the construction of an approximately 137,933 +/- square foot Lowe's Home Improvement Center with a 31,179 +/- square foot garden center and a 14,820 +/- square foot retail pharmacy on approximately 24 acres of land. The project is located on the northeast corner of US Route 20A and Volunteer Road in the Town of Geneseo, New York.
