Negative Declaration

Columbia County - The Town of Gallatin, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Town of Gallatin Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of the Town of Gallatin Comprehensive Plan in accordance with Section 272-a of Town Law. The Plan includes statement of goals and objectives for the orderly growth of the Town. Included in the Plan are demographic statistics, past and present land uses, public opinion surveys and recommendations for the Town to use and/or adopt in order to reach the aforementioned goals and objectives. The project is located in the Town of Gallatin, New York.

The action involves the Adoption of the Village of Athens Updated Comprehnsive Plan (Town and Village of Athens Comprehensive Plan) in accordance with Seciton 7-722 of the Village Law. The Plan includes statements of goals and objectives for the orderly growth of the Village. Included in the Plan are demographic statistics, past and present land uses, public opinion surveys and recommendations for the Town to use and/or adopt in order to reach the aforementioned goals and objectives. The project is located in the Village of Athens, New York.
